I have been to see a horse today 5yr old TB that i really like, a fab mover and well put together, no racing history. However he does have an old injury on his near hind fetlock. Its a scar with a nobbly bit..not swelling and not boney, more like a callous, the present owner bought him from sales at Ascot with it. His price reflects this and in my eyes he is well worth the money but should i steer clear? She is happy for him to be vetted, im just not sure what to do.
Any advice/opinion greatly received.

If it is just a blemish, and you don't want to show, and the price reflects it, then if he fits the bill every other way I would have him vetted. I would make it clear to the vet that you have concerns about this area and tell them exactly what you plan to do with the horse. If he passes the vet for what you plan to do then - yes - I would go for it.

Agree with Misst as long as you are not planning on showing and it is just a blemish then get the vet to check it but wouldn't be overly worried.

If you like everything else, go for it. Horses have the horrible habit of springing surprises on you all the time, generally things that aren't apparent when you go to see them. Ask the vet to look at it in vetting. Good luck!
