I have decided that I cant justify the cost of Top Spec balencer anymore now that the prices have been hiked up.

with 2 "special needs" veterans, large vet bills included, Im having to think through every purchase carefully, and the cost of everything is increasing.

Its not just the cost of feeds and supplements, but gas and electric and petrol and everything, and funnily enough my salery isnt increasing in line with that. And I have a young family to think of as well.... so..... I want to do the best by my horses but not throw money away if you know what I mean?

Has anyone used either Benevit Advance or Equine Answers 365 feed supplement?

Opinions are very welcome

I have used Benevit for years now .
It is one of the best all round suppliments with high levels you would expect from a much more expensive brand.
Prob the best and most cost effective.

Benevit is good value but D won't eat it. It has a really strong oily smell that she doesn't like and she's not a fussy eater at all. She eats everything else I put in front of her and lots of things I'd rather she didn't eat

Ive used benevit for the last 11yrs!! lol yep its good or so my 28tb mare thinks! (chestnut in my siggy)She has this every day and i think its done her proud (if you know what i mean)

I use Benevit for both my extremely good doers to ensure they get all the vits and mins they need. I buy a large tub which normally works out even cheaper - and it gets delivered to your door - FREE! I bought the last lot at Burghley where they had a 50% off everything sale, so that was even better, although i think they do have offers on all the time!

Benevit is brilliant, and I have never had a horse refuse it. Good levels of vitamins, the things it doesn't have that are in TS are protein and yeast.

I've used TS on occasions to kick start a poor horse, then switched to Benevit, they have some really good offers on, I've just had a lot for £35 delivered.

Bought Benevit at burghley on offer as worked out cheaper than NAF one - picky horse is eating it fine and looking at the size of the tub it'll last for ages!
