Has anybody used an arena with a Flexiride surface? A friend is trying to re-surface hers and is interested in it, but can’t find anywhere other than Birmingham to test it (we’re in South Wales). Any opinion on the surface as a whole or does anybody know anywhere near to Cardiff where she could ride on it (any competition centres etc).

Thanks in advance (logging off soon so I may not reply until morning) :)

Hi
we have just had our arena resurfaced with it.
It is amazing surface for the price, we had -20 temperatures in that last cold spell and it didnt freeze at all, its bouncy, and the horses love it, my mare doesnt half power off it over jumps.
When it first arrived, we were alittle shocked and thought the horses would hate the look of it and it looks just liked square shredded carpet and foam but i cant rate it enough! it also soaks up any boggy bits if your drainage isnt too brill and there is no puddling or wet bits.

I have pictures of it if your friend wants to see it in more detail, pm me with your email addy and i can send them.

Great surface, doesn't need a lot of levelling, stays firm in dry weather, doesn't freeze too easily, even though after 6 years it's not as good as it was initially, not dusty.

would recommend.
