Opinions on horse please?

From an amateur perspective - lots to like I'd say for her age. Looks a nice type, bit green but nice enough paces and jump. A little tight and not always working through from behind and looks a bit downhill/on the forehand in the canter work but plenty of positives to build on given she's only 5. Looks a bit like a gelding I've just bought so maybe Im a little biased right now haha.

Obv depends what you want to do with her, assuming you're buying. She looks like she'd make a decent all rounder /RC horse. Maybe even showing but can't really tell from the vids and that's not my thing.

Its hard to tell how well he goes being pulled into a false outline like that, also I would be careful it might just be because of the video quality but looks a bit unsound on the right rein, though it could just be due to lack of topline. He is a lovely, genuine looking horse, who could do well in the right hands so I hope he works out good for you. :)

I was going to view this one, until one of my youngsters tried self harming ! So now have a massive vets bill to.pay.

I really like her, and from what I understand the seller is a genuine dealer of this type of horse. She has a few in that are similar, so you could try a few.

Good luck, and let's us know how you get on

I really like her. She is built quite downhill, but at age 5 she has a bit of growing to do. She has a nice walk and a loose trot. The canter in the first video shows her bent to the right and a bit tense with some tail swishing (could well be the rider). The second video is almost all on the left rein but don't know if that's intentional or an oversight. She has a really nice scopey jump.

I though she looked a bit uneven/slightly lame on the right rein too, maybe being dealt with by pulling her nose in very tightly so she can't nod?

I do think she's lovely though!

not sure, does not track up in trot but is over bent and not strong enough to 'carry' herself, looks rather stiff but is that because she is tense? rather down hill but if I was looking then I would think she is worth a viewing

Nice type, has been schooled for sale, I would think she needs a bit of time off to relax and then get to know her, so not really ready to compete at any serious level this year, but probably fine for RC stuff this year, and will be rather nice next year.
Stiffness may be muscular, who knows ......... 5 stage vetting essential

Lots to like, but merely as an observation I do wish that videos selling horses would show the complete picture, as in all the transitions and a section of video that is more than a circuit of the arena!

Definitely favouring the left canter lead and most of the jumping video is jumping on the left rein - just things to think about if you go and view :)

This. And I think she looks a bit bum high to me? 5yo ID so she probably has lots of growing to do yet.

I really like her but hate the way she is being ridden especially in canter in the first vid no wonder she looks unlevel & downhill she's only 5 ID s take a long time to mature mentally & physically I would view but I'm biased I already have 2 grey IDs !

Very nice type, being ridden short in the neck and would give a very different picture if allowed to open. Looks to move straight and everything in proportion. Certainly worth a look and I would not hang around or you will be too late.

Lots to like, but a few things to be cautious over. Typical ID....big front, but weak behind. Would definitely spend money on a 5 stage vetting, performed by a specialist equine vet. Would try to get to the bottom of how much she did as a real baby....am guessing she is an irish import so will have been hunted in all likelihood....no problems with that.....the only question is how much and did she incur any accidents during the course of her hunting life?

Am guessing you don't want a pure dressage horse.....if so you could do a lot better! She will need to learn to take a proper contact and overcome her tendency to overbend to evade, as well as working better from behind. Nice jump though...especially neat behind.
If she has typical ID mentality, would be well worth a viewing and could be a little gem, dependent on what you are after and price, of course!

Good luck!

I thought unlevel and not accepting the bit but agree a good sort with not so good riding but I am sure a vetting would sort out if it is lameness or unbalanced riding

Ever so slightly uneven behind, more so on the right rein. Not sure if that's just the way she is being ridden though, or maybe just some underlying weakness that work hasn't fixed yet. Really nice stamp of a horse though, looks like she might make a decent eventer, so definitely worth a viewing I would say.

She looks a bit lame to me on the right rein too.
I do feel sorry for the poor thing having her head pulled in like that. I'm sure with proper, sympathetic schooling she'd be a lovely horse. A lovely chunky girl :)
Her jump looks really like it's in slow motion! I think the slight lameness would put me off. I wouldn't risk buying a horse that might be a bit lame.
