Is it young?
Needs condition on. Desperately needs attention to the feet. High withered, but won't be as bad when weight and muscle put on.. Could be nice in the future.

She's 13 actually, she does look very baby faced. Already been shod again last week. This is what she arrived like last week.

I like her- nice big bottom, good sloping shoulder, nice and compact with decent (if a fraction long) limbs. Her neck comes out the wither a bit low and she is a fraction downhill but I bet she's athletic and can jump with that backside!

I´m not experienced enough to say something professional about how her constitusion is. For me she seems to be build quite harmonical.
But she has too little muscles. It´s not just that. It looks more like she has lost some muscles maybe caused by bad riding or unsuitable equipment. Because the red marked areas also have to be filled up if the horse is untrained. In relation to this her underneck (? I´ve marked it green) is marked too much.
Because of the strong underneck I expect her to be over or behind the vertical line with her nose and so support with the underneck instead of the overneck (red lines on the neck)
I hope it´s understandable. It´s hard to explain something without having the suitable vocabular.

she's a nice sort, but in terrible need of condition!!!
in fact, i'd go so far as to say she looks as poor as rob did when we first got him :s but he turned out fabulously with correct work and weight gain (he's in the far right in my sig- the light bay)
build her up and i think she'll be a very nice beastie

I wouldn't say she was poor, she looks to me like she's been out of work and dropped a bit of muscle. If she were poor she wouldn't have that good back end.
I don't much like the conformation of her back though, I find those with high, sloping withers can shift their saddles back

Cheers for opinions guys. Shes my friends new horse on a 6month loan with buy at end. They were really honest with the sale, she's been out of work since daughter is pregnant and they have 9 other horses. But she's arrived with my friend now so she can get loads of attention and stuff!
