Hi I love him anyway but just wanted an objective opinion on my boy. Thank you millyspaniel, I hope he looks better now, clipped and with more muscle than fat! Got him from a dodgy dealer because I couldn't walk away. Turns out I've been very lucky, must take a recent photo!

Thoroughbred? How old is he?

He's 5. Apparently from Ireland but his microchip says France so possibly Selle Francais. I think he's quite chunky. Thought he'd maybe trained as a racehorse only because he's so good in traffic but think he might be too heavy for a racehorse. Tried to trace his history but can't because I don't speak French! Any help on this also would be greatly appreciated!

Might he be a French trotter, as he looks like someone I knows horse, which is a French trotter. He is gorgeous, by the way.
