Opinions on my cobs hooves please (pics)

I'm on a tablet now and can see the frog more clearly and it doesn't look yucky lol.

Diet wise reduce sugars and a good balancer such as pro hoof or forage plus hoof health.

The quarters are the widest part of the hoof. Toe is 10 to 2, quarters run from there o heels
 
Thanks, the trouble with feeding him a balancer is that I have to add it to feed don't I? And he's too fat at the mo as it is just on the grass.
 
Sorry, posted by mistake and I can't edit on this thing. To heels not o heels. The wall should be just above sole plane all the way round.
Also feed some salt 20 gms a day to start. Fast fibre or unmollassed beet to carry the balancer and add linseed in winter or if reduced grazing.
 
The amount of fast fibre needed won't make much difference I expect the grass is more a factor in weight gain so if it can be reduced and replaced with soaked hay that should help reduce sugar intake which will help feet and waist line.
