Seems a little odd that a college offering degrees in Equine therapy and rehabilitation should keep horses stabled 24/7. Do you think there is a conflict between what they teach and what they do ?
While the local uni for vets and agricultural degrees had a yard with limited turnout, the majority of students tended to use local yards in the village and surrounding areas. Most of the students had a car or a bike and were able to combine their courses with keeping their horses in an environment that was acceptable. The yards were very used to students horse's only being around during term time and YO's were able to offer help or/and grass livery during revision/exam times.
