opinions on the fit of this saddle please

With it being a new saddle with new flocking I would expect ANY saddle to settle and lower. All of mines have whether fitted by a saddle fitter or not.

We may find that once the saddle has bedded in that it loses the perched look people are saying they can see. I cant see it personally It looks like a well fitted saddle to me, having had a chat with the OPs friend I think that it may be a different story once the saddle has settled.

I used to work in a saddlers shop, where the owner was a master saddler and did lots of saddle fitting. I also work as an equine body worker, and frequently had to follow him around telling people that his saddles were not helping their horse. I don't think he ever found out who this annoying person was, but it taught me a lot about saddle fitters!
