Also, how much are second hand, well looked after liveryman harmony plus clipper going for?

They are Chinese and "are what they are". I would always recommend buying a "Brand" with some reputation and backup, Liscop/Lister/Heinigar etc. But as in all things "you pays your money,you take your choice". As for Harmony Plus, I have not seen many secondhand, last one I saw the seller wanted £199 on E Bay. Sometimes Clipper Sharp down in Devon have them at a good price or maybe an ex demo one.

If you are looking for a bargain Sureclip are value for money - never had a problem with them and I use the battery powered ones. Do my 17hh boy in 1.5 batteries

look at masterclip - really good, reliable and great value

I have used sure clip clippers for years. Good value for money and been reliable. I just cant justifi paying £300 for a set of clippers.
