Opinions on this bridle ? ......

It looks nice but... I was window shopping last night and found a beautiful Stubben 3000 bridle in choco, which is a really lovely colour. :D Also I don't use a flash with my neds, so I like to have the option of having a plain caveson noseband.

It's ok for a basic bridle I guess, suppose it depends on what type of head it's on and if you like a bridle suited to what you do with your horse, dressage, hunting etc

I prefer the Ascot in that make as it doesn't have a buckle on the outside where it attaches to your bit, gives a neater look but that's if you were say wanting a dressage bridle for example or if your a bit more fussy about stuff like that, I'm not fussy person personally as don't compete in a certain thing or to any level so I can be relaxed about stuff like that but if your spending good money on a decent bridle on a nice horse and your going out competing then I think you can afford to be more fussy and make sure the bridle has all the right features, weight, width, design, billets, clips or buckles, colour of metal, padded, comfort...all that kinda stuff :D

They even do a grey one, have you seen that? I'd love to buy that for Mackenzie if I had the spare pennies spend on a 'nice bridle' although it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea :o but I think it would suit him.

I am a plain jane type of girl, I don't like anything to stand outish .....but something thats nice and kind to the eye, as you may remember, Missy has a plain head but very pretty head with huge ears (nothing i can do to hide them :p :D ) .

I don't like anything to heavily padded or too thick either .

I thought the colour was quite nice ....looks really rich looking ? .

Anyhoos thanks for the comments folks .

I have some reins by this make and they are lovely, good quality and really soft, supple leather. Haven't got a bridle, but judging by the quality of the reins I would buy one (if you get what I mean!)!

OK except for the buckle fastenings on the cheek pieces - but I'm just not a fan of buckles.

I was starting to get lonely in this club - my all time equine hate - buckles on the cheekpieces - urghhh!

To keep on the point - nice bridle (other than the cheekpiece thing), but agree about the Stubben.
