Lol, bit harsh bossanova! Hehe!

He doesn't really do it for me, but the pictures don't help. As a potential purchaser, there's nothing you can do about that, though. If you like that type of horse, then yes, he looks/sounds fine. Would I pay 3k for him? Probably not, but then I don't know whether he's worth it or not, it's just that he doesn't float my boat!

Dreadfull pics but I think he looks sweet!

FWIW I don't think he is nec overpriced- I bought an unproven 5yo for 6k 18months ago- couldn't touch his mouth, very unbalanced, hadn't done much jumping BUT I liked his attitude & jump (and am stupid enough to relish a project!) - we are now doing 1.20 bsja and has BE points - many on here would have (perhaps rightly at the time) said don't touch him for that price esp as he had no record but hey, the gamble this time paid off and I now think he was a bit of a bargain....

At the end of the day it's down to your personal preferance and gut feeling when you are actually looking at the horse 'in the flesh' and in the absence of shocking pics!

I'd say if you are interested go and see - what have you got to lose?!

I agree, looks lovely if thats yourtype and you have the time to do a 4y.o.! After all these extra views the seller is probably really excited at the interest!

Why do people put 'for sale due to divorce' (or other reasons not pertaining to the horse)? I mean, do they want people to go along and totally take the p*ss becasue they're desperate?!!

Sorry, just think stating such reasons is a bit dumb and 'through no fault of his own' would suffice!!

I thikn it's so people realise the sale is genuine. Having been through a divorce myself it's a pretty emotional time and I guess it just spills out!

how is he overpriced?
he is not unbroken straight out of the field!

Would still put an offer in tough if you like him.

looks a lovely genuine type, need to see better photos to be able to say any more, definatly worth a visit though.

It's always really difficult to judge the conformation on tobianos from photos; and those certainly aren't the best photos in the world. In some of the photos he looks like he is incredibly long backed and appears to have very upright and straight hind legs ... however whatwith not good photos AND his markings, I don't think any of us can really tell what he is like. You're just going to have to go view!

I don't think he is overpriced; actually I think the pricing is somewhat under what I would have expected. Whether we like it or not, in the riding for pleasure and fun category of buyers, horses with unusual colourings do normally sell for more than brown horses.

Go see and let us know.
