Possibly interested in this horse..

"Unregistered Welsh C mare for sale. 13hh, rides bigger, easily takes a small adult but wouldn’t be too stocky for a smaller rider. Pretty pony with a super temperament.

This lovely mare has only been recently backed after being a broodmare. To ride although understandably green she is straight-forward and would make a good ‘second pony’ for a competent young rider. She is proving easy to do in all ways however is still fairly 'sheltered', so would benefit from a kind/experienced home to continue her education. Snaffle mouthed always, she has seen traffic inc tractors and hacked on the roads (in company) and round our fields (alone). Schooling well in walk and trot, starting to offer a soft outline in both paces. She has started canter work in the school, and recently started polework and small jumps, which she enjoys. She placed 1st out of 12 in her first outing at the end of July, a walk-trot dressage test where she scored 62% (video available). Ready now to bring on in any sphere.

Sound with no known health issues or vices, has never napped, reared, bucked, bitten or kicked. Placid with other horses in the field. Lives in or out, fine on her own. Never worn shoes, but good to trim. Easy to catch/handle etc, loads into a lorry or trailer. A very genuine, honest pony who just needs a bit more life experience under her girth - ideal as a pony club prospect for next season.

For sale as no permanent rider (bought to ride on while main horse is on box rest) so a real bargain at £825 ono - priced for quick sale so someone can enjoy the rest of the summer with her. Local transport possible for contribution to diesel."

Can i have CC? and any thoughts on price? etc...

I like her. The only thing that is missing is that they haven't hacked her alone on roads and for me, she would have to hack alone. She's not expensive at all but I would get a 2 stage vetting anyway. :)

She would have to hack alone on roads with me! I live on a lane between an A road and a B road! Bombproof in traffic is a must..

She's pretty, but i feel she would be a little to 'dainty' for me!

I can dream...

Looks like a sweetie - it would be worth asking how recently she was backed. IME they often go quite sweetly for 4 / 6 / 8 weeks and then start to ask questions / test boundaries. I generally expect the first 6 months of riding away to be harder work / more testing of a rider's abilities than the initial backing process.

Phone up, ask her age, how she was in traffic in company and whether they think that she would be fine alone. If she still sounds promising, go and see her and you might find that she takes up your leg well (sec C's tend to be wide ;) ).
