Glad that you like him. He looks like a leg in each corner type and has a nice eye. I know it's not what you should look at but I also like his colour but looking at parents (grey mare and by skip and sea who from googling also seems to be grey) I don't think he will stay this colour. Will phone up tomorrow and try go and have a look.

Any knowledge on his breeding or anything to pay particular attention to?
 
Just make sure everything is in the right place and he is pleasant tempered. Most ID's are, I would also look at the others because in the flesh is often different to photo's. His sire is popular and I not heard anything bad about him.

I could be wrong but I think you are out of luck as I believe a friend of mine on Facebook has bought him and he is a real sweety by the sounds of it. But yes is certainly going to be grey eventually
