Opinions on this horsey?

he is very handsome.lovely face
it is odd he is 9 and doesnt appear to have 'done' anything.i woud ask why, although a low milage horse wouldnt put me off if i was satisfied there was a good reason.
i would also like a confo picture to see though.

I don't like him...but that's probably because I hate coloured horses...

Beautiful head.... dont like his markings much but that is only personal, too much white to scrub poo stains off of

Looks talented but as everyone else says not done much for a nine year old. Also think he is worth a bit less than they are selling for.. If he had a competition record then maybe.

I reckon you could get a few events under your belt to fulfil some of his supposed potential, and then make a nice profit

I'm going to really put my foot in, but there is a reason why there are relatively few coloured horses eventing at the top level in comparison to other colours and breeds - because they originally come from common (gypsy) bloodlines and often lack athleticism or endurance. WFT couldn't get ANY of the weight off his coloured - who had a lot of quality - so got rid of it! I guess it depends what you want him for

Cannot comment without seeing a decent confo picture really. He looks a useful sort jumping, but I do question what he has been doing and how much his scope has been questioned.

I watched WFP on that horse at Aldon in March it was hilarious I have never seen WFP pony club kick!!
I am not a coloured fan at all for eventers. Yes there are some freaks but they are rare and few. I just do not think they have the engine or athleticism but if you are looking to turn it then that is different to thinking long term.

Beautiful, intelligent-looking head on him. I don't think he is over priced to be honest and his lack of competition experience wouldn't put me off.

I'd go for a proper look after receiving some conformation shots.

V interesting that it has not been mentioned in the advert!

Sorry not that one in the advert but the one Lifes Lemons was talking about. The one WFP got rid of.

I like but would question why a 9 yr old is only jumping tiny fences.

Is the WFP horse, the one by the River in the light or what ever it was called stallion?

That one's down by me. I don't know it but was going to ring about it when I was looking. What I liked was the shape he was throwing when jumping but I didn't like what looks like a huge muscle underneath his neck and also that it was 9 and not done much.

I think it is definitely worth a ring though to ask a bit more as there might be a valid reason for the lack of experience and a confo photo might help.

Saw that. like the way it jumps, but dont like its neck at all. Would be interested to see it stood up.

Re the coloureds, there are very few "quality" coloureds (eg high % of TB blood) hence why there are very few at top level eventing. Depends how far back the "cob" is in them tbh. Disagree re. athleticism etc, alot of them have a high % of pony blood in them which gives them a 5th leg and makes them very clever. But I see very few which are of a true tbx stamp and havnt got alot of cob showing through.

Maybe that thats all the riding in confident to jump??? Pretty horse but expensive for a horse that has not done very much

A very attractive horse. As with all adverts it’s very hard to tell until you go and see the horse in the flesh. Worth a look I think. You never know the price could be negotiable???

Looks like it's just me that doesn't like it much then! Can't see anything special about it from those photo's.
5K for a 9yo thats done bugger all
