What does everyone think of this saddle??

Its a Henri De Rivel isnt it!? Rode in one last year, the quality was shocking, really didnt like it....but the old ones are lovely....difficult without seeing and being able to feel the leather.....

Yes it is - yes my friend has just bought a jump one (not single flap) and I thought the quality was quite poor.

Having a dilema of who can come and fit one for me and what one to go for

Strange mix of leathers, and quite unusual looking (not in a good way, I think).

However if it fits and it works and you like it.........

Best single flap ones IMO are the Ideal saddles or the Exselle single flap. Both nice leather and good trees for the horses back. CAn recommend a very good saddler in Bury St Edmunds that travels good distances if he is anywhere near you!? Sorry geography is crap....

Try a single flap Ideal Springbok - fantastic saddle

I was so sad to see mine go but they just do not suit P's conformation

If you like that sort of design the Jeffries flyover might be suitable. My saddler was willing to do a deal which made it about £900. I prefered a prestige though.

That would be great KatB Bury St Edmunds is about 40mins from me.

And I didnt really like it I prefer the exselle or ideal but just struggling to find someone who has them!!

Looks like it is unbalanced and very long.Surely the deepest part is miles further back than your leg should hang.
