All being well Im getting this 10 month old filly in a fortnight. She is a Drum horse out of an 18hh Shire mare and by a 15.2hh Trad Cob stallion. Currently standing at roughly 14.2hh. What do you think of her conformation, and what height do you think she is likely to achieve..?? (Im having her anyway, Im in love lol, just curious of others opinions) This is the only pic I have at present. :D:D:D

Bit hard to tell under all that fluff and I'm hopeless at CC when they are so young but I'm sure she'll grow into herself with a summer on her back. Good luck, must be exciting getting them at that age and watching them grow up .....

nice shoulders, nice hocks... straight legs from this angle... looks like a well set on neck taking into account that peaking bottom!!

I reckon 16.2+

Sweet. Really wouldn't care to judge cc as she's so young but would live to see a pic of her fully mature ;) good luck!

I don't think she's 'odd' I just don't think her bay patches are doing any favours, giving the illusion of a worse back/bum combination. I bet she will turn into a swan, a few years down the line.

That's the oddest thing I've seen for a long time, bless her.

I have to agree, short in the neck and straight through the shoulder will make for an uncomfortable ride, also appears to need a good worming so would be worried about worm damage showing up in later years.

She's going to going to grow into an impressive horse. Lovely expression on her face.

What are you going to do with her?
Riding?
Driving?
Drumming?

If she was mare's first foal then maybe 16.2 (depends what was behind sire's breeding), if not first foal then maybe 17 hands plus

Def give her a worming.

Have fun with her, look forward to hearing the updates :)

It think she has a short neck and a straight shoulder (but one that probably matches the pastern angle) she also seems to have a very steep croup/low set tail although I wonder if it is blowing a hooley and she is tucked up given where her tail is.

Be interesting to see what she grows into!

Gosh, let me get this right, when someone asks for CC, then we must only post comments like 'ooh how lovely'?

CC means constructive criticism and that is what has been given here.

Sorry OP not getting at you btw

Saying 'that's the oddest thing I've seen in a long time' is not constructive criticism.

I know where you're coming from, I once started a thread asking CC on my riding. One response was "Nice horse, shame". How on earth is that helpful??! Luckily other posters were extremely helpful.
p.s I don't think amymay meant it in an offensive way, its just probably isn't her type of horse, nor is it mine tbh, but whatever floats your boat!
