Someone i know sold a horse who was lame to a family who knew that he was lame. When they tried him out he had been sound but when they got him vetted he was slightly lame. He got a 5* vetting and they had known fully about the surgery he had had 9 months previous to the sale. There were absolutely no secrets however where do the family that bought him stand if they are now mad?

How did he get a 5* vetting if he was slightly lame and why are the family now mad if they knew he was lame??? Sorry im confused???

I would think so long as the lameness was noted on the vetting (which it would have to have been) then your friends who sold the horse are in the clear.

When you had your horse vetted you should have been given a receipt from the vet. If it was noted in the vetting then you're fine. I take it it's the grey in your signature? I've seen him advertised.
