Just found this ad on horsemart but it is a trade advertiser.

Ad reference: HM117EGB1

I know nothing about them & you hear so many horror stories about dealers I'm in two minds whether to contact them or not.

Anyone know who they are or have any info about them. PM if you prefer.

Any help / advice very gratefully received, I already have one field ornament, I really don't want another!

He looks a bit over at the knee. What do you want him for?

ETA. I'd rather have a horse that was slightly over rather than slightly back at the knee.

Basically to have some fun with. Local shows, maybe try some crosscountry and hacking out.

I've had my mare for 11 years (since she was 9 months old) but she is just too unpredictable despite years of professional help / schooling she is just going to be my big grey field ornament for the rest of her days.

So now trying to find something that I can enjoy without too much drama!

Was really just that that horse came up and thought the dealer had a couple that might fit the bill and is local to me. Just extremely nervous of getting caught out by an unscroupulous one.

ETA - Thanks Mill Reef - that was really my reason for posting. I wanted to find out if anyone on here had had dealings with them.

The most important thing when buying from dealers is to have a full vetting with bloods done by a Vet that has no connection with the dealer at all.

i always by my horses from a dealer in scotland.
if you have a problem with a horse the will usually help or take it back , unlike private sellers.

My boy is from a dealer, and he is a gem the only things he has had wrong with him are not down to the fact of where he came from but more the fact he is a clumsy what not.
IMO The thing to do is go and look with your eyes wide open and if interested have full vetting and check everything you can. I would not go an look at a horse i liked the look of just because it was at a dealer.

Far more protected buying from a dealer than a private home - I get very cross about people tarring all dealers with the same *STAY AWAY* brush...as in all things in life, there are good ones and bad ones.

Sadly I cannot help you with their rep tho as it is not my area.

I bought mine from a dealer, woul recommend her to anyone. Surely you'd proceed with caution buying from anyone.

OP don't let the fact that it's a dealer put you off, ther are good and bad in all walks of life.

I have no problem buying of a dealer and you have more protection buying from them than a private seller. Make sure you have the horse vetted and try it out several times before you buy.
