i used it on my mare after an injury (it was prescribed by vet) and TBH didn't notice a distinct improvement. Took her off it after a year and didn't notice any difference! I know a lot of people who use it as our local vet seems to recommend it a bit willy nilly, and a lot of them swear by it so I think it is whatever suits your horse!

I use it. Vet recommended it after horse had his hocks medicated recently for spavins. I wanted Cortavet but he said JFX was better, more effective and the only thing you pay for with CV is the name (echo for Cortaflex).

Personally haven't seen much difference but then the medication for his hocks made a massive dfifference so I don't know what is due to that, and what to the joint supp. YO swears by it tho.
