Opinions wanted on horse..

For the money looks ok. Is so diff to say from a pic - would really need to see her in the flesh.

Won't start critising as she is only £1850 ao is not going to be a top dressage horse

Is she not a bit far away for you though?

Not particularly keen although she is probably value for money. She appears quite long although that clip could be misleading. She looks generally a bit weak particularly considering she is not young.

Looks genuine sort though and nice neat jump. Have a look and see.

Her fetlocks look HUGE - she is priced just to be a plod around, nothing special and she looks reasonable enough for that!

doesnt look too bad imo - has a pretty long back, and her back end doesnt really match the front - agree the clip probably doesn't help the overall impression. You can see from the top photo that she's not really built to be engaged but looks sweet and has a very neat little pop.

she has a lovely kind face, not a world beater and not the best conformation but for that price I think she is a good buy!

Great as a happy hacker or for fun.

She would be a happy hacker/bit of fun. So for a first horse she makes a good impression? Would the big fetlocks/upright pasterns cause a problem?
Yes, she is a bit far but with cheap flights that you can get these days and I know many people with horse boxes that would gladly let me use them (dad is also a GHV driver which helps

)I am willing to travel for the right horse!
At the minute I'm not looking to do any competing, maybe clear round jumping, just to get experience being out.

Not really, unless you were going to pound her into the ground - I would try her out, get her vetted, etc. My other concern for that price if she is good, and with all the travelling you have to do you will probably get beat to the punch.

No, she wouldn't be 'pounded to the ground!'

I'd never buy a horse without getting it vetted first. And I would take other people (that are also willing to travel!) with me to see any possible horses too.

The travelling doesn't bother me at all. If the horse is right, to me it'll be worth it

Yeah you just do not want to spend 400 GBP travelling for horses to go before you can organize it - that money is better spent on an agent who is travelling picking up a number of horses for clients.

TBH, it depends what you want from a horse. Ive never been massively big on confirmation either - I go by how the horse goes and temperament and if he'd do the job I want. One of the horses I have now isnt amazingly put together but he's performs perfectly so its not an issue! Unless you want a showing horse I wouldnt worry that much about it (unless there is something glarily obviously wrong with the horse).

For what you want to do she seems fine, looks like she needs building up a little on the back end but if she's honest enough you can have alot of fun for not alot of money.
