any opinions on the below bridle, also what is 'full 3/4' ?

ASCOT COMFORT BRIDLE 5/8"

Stainless Steel fittings. This bridle has soft padding behind the Browband, Noseband and the top of the Headpiece. This ensures a very comfortable bridle and helps to reduce poll pressure.

Oh i like that! It looks very comfortable with all that padding but i dont think it would look that obvious on (not too chunky).
I think it depends on the horse, what breed isit? Fine or a chunky cob?!

More likely the width of the cheek pieces as in a heavier weight than the 5/8ths ones. More suitable for hunting and heavy duty work or for slimming down big heads.

It looks lovely - wish I wasn't broke

I've got a similar browband on my black bridle and it looks fine on my mare and her head is quite small.

agree with KatB - leather isn't great but they are good value for money. I have a couple of friends who have Ascot bridles to use everyday and they seem to be lasting well and still look good....
