opinons on Natures Best beding

as heading states i am trying to get an alternative to shavings as they are so hard to get and are getting very exspensive

very pleased with it one bag a week easy to take poos out and sieve wet out if i have time.

It's great - been using Aquamax for 2 years - then Woody Pet for 10 years - now Natures best for 8 months and really rate the Natures Best as the best of them all. Bigger wood pellets and far more absorbent than the other.Very easy to muck out and minimum amounts on the muck heap so cheaper and easier all round.

I've just e-mailed the company as i'm really interested getting hold of this too. Have never seen it in tack shops or anything so wondering if they deliver directly? I'm willing to try anything to get off regular shavings at the moment, they're getting too expensive as i easily get through 3-4 bales a week with my mare

Ooh - a lady I ride and muck out for is using this and I think it's horrid! The beds are constantly damp in this weather, although they are up during the day they never dry out and it's hard to determine what bedding is and isn't worth rescuing and chucking up onto the banks as it is all so wet (and it's not my money I'm throwing onto the muck heap!) I'm interested to hear you're all so keen - perhaps if I was using it for my own horse in my own routine I would feel different?

think the person you are mucking out for is not actually using the bedding correctly, my beds are all dry and clean - and it is really obvious which is the clean and which is the dirty.
