As the title says! i need a new jumping saddle but i wqant a 2nd hand one for now as my boy is only 4 and iv seen a few of the above but never rode in 1 and help much appreciated!
Is the CS the one with the flatter seat? I had a Stubben Seigfried deep seat jump saddle. It was great to jump in really holds you in with knee rolls & I felt so secure. However, down side seat was so blummin hard I had to buy a Heather Moffatt Seat saver if I was riding more than a few hours. But I loved jumping in it.
This is the best saddle I've ever sat on. I still have mine but, sadly it doesn't fit my horse. Not wide enough for him. It made me feel so safe, like sitting in a baby seat. Deep seat and humungous knee and thigh blocks, I love it love it love it! I never used to fall off that saddle. It has taken me ages and ages to find something similar that actually fits and I now have a Barnsby VSS Omega 7 series GP/Jump saddle, which is rather gorgeous, but still not as nice as my Stubben. We are keeping it in the hope that my next horse may fit it. That's how nice it is
My friend's WB has one, I've ridden in it quite a few times and find the seat really uncomfy! It puts your legs in a fab position and you feel really secure, but the seat is like a plank of wood and is murder on your seatbones, especially if you're in it for a long time.
