I have always wanted to try this noseband on Merlin as he does all of the undesireable things that it is supposed to correct

LOL!! Well I use the grackle for a few weeks and if he decides he doesn't like it then I'll buy one!

I used to use one of these on my old boy - he was better in a grackle than this - but I guess each to there own. I will have a look in my tack room to see if I still have it and let you know if you want a borrow? If I do still have it it won't fit any of my girls now with their petit little noses!

I nearly bought one for Cinders, but soon trained her out of her problems. I guess it depends exactly what Bear is doing as to how effective it might be.

He gets it in his head now and again that he going to gallop instead of canter and I have no breaks whatsoever, he can be so so strong!!

I went up the galloping track in Mawla on Sunday behind a friend and we flew along it, I actually had breaks at the end of it with the grackle!

I dont know if it will last though cos usually he'll accept something for a few weeks and then decide he don't like it
