Just reading about people not feeling like riding. I have the opposite feeling today. Rode the phenomenal share pony, pony prozac, real life unicorn as Sunday is my day and wow. Just wow!
We have amazing hacking I ride with a lovely friend. We laugh and laugh and I found some new buttons to press for canter that worked a great! His new name- Rocket!

Lovely, I had a sunny polework lesson on saturday - raised trot poles in lines, and curves of varying distances. Finished playing with changes over a canter pole. Horse felt good.

Yes, I've recently moved yards to one with some nice, mostly off-road hacking, and I'm really enjoying riding out (and having people to ride out with). I feel more motivated to ride than I did for most of last year, when it was tricky to ride for lots of reasons. But it sucks at this time of year I can really only ride on weekends, and my pony isn't very fit, and I can't really ride enough to increase his fitness. I definitely don't feel Blah, but I do understand why others do!

My PSSM type 2 has found a regime that suits & is now back in full work. Dressage comp on Sunday, back in the swing of lessons with sj trainer & dr trainer, new breeches, got my lorry ramp replaced & am having the inside refitted, I have been doing bwrt to improve my confidence... Back to riding two a day & have switched from being fair weather to any weather... It's all go, go, go at this end! :)

I'm another that's all go. I've got some winter champs coming up so can't ease off. I've planned what I need to be doing each weekend to set us up for it and then use the week day rides to set up for the weekend. It's tough without a school but where there's a will there's a way!
