I'm at my wits end with my ned destroying over reach boots. He's trashing two pairs a week at the moment! If i dont put them on he either steps on himself or pulls shoes. He just likes playing in the field and boings about and treads on himself. He doesnt just manage to rip them slightly - he shreds big pieces out of them, breaks the velcro off or who knows cos i cant even find them!! So far I've tried the thick rubber ones, thin rubber ones, PVC ones, neoprene ones, woof wear ones... I give up!!!! Anyone got any genius ideas to stop him bankrupting me???

HATE the noise of them, but have you tried Westropp petal over reach boots? I think they were initially designed for horses that ripped boots a lot.... and you can just replace the odd petal.

Also, I know they are mega expensive for or boots, but I am fasinated by these new style ones

Though not sure if they'd be ideal for field wear as could rub easily by the looks of it, and don't know how much protection they'll actually give (and wouldn't want to spend £100 for the pleasure of it lol!!). But just wanted to mention them to see if anyone had had experience with them?

They're really interesting looking - have clearly been living under a rock as have not seen them before. Look good for this dry weather, but could be problematic in wetter weather? I can just imagine them filling up with water lol!! Or more likely mud.....
