Evening everyone!

To cut a long story short, I've found a beautiful pair of boots I want from Casa De La Botas, trouble is they are based in Argentina. The boots are stunning (Palermo model if anyone is as nosey as I am), on the site it states they are '500 Arg' which I assume means Argentinian Peso which only converts to £90! Part of me thinks BARGAIN! but I'm not sure, are goods in Argentina not taxed much? Would it cost me a lot to have them shipped over? Can you sense anything genuinely dodgy?

Kinds Regards & TIA!

You will be required to pay import duty on their arrival in the UK. The import duty will be collected by Royal mail & they charge around £12 themselves as a fee for collecting the tax for the government. I got stung this way when I bought a pair of Levis from the US.

If you consider that the boots are such a bargain then the addition of import tax shouldn't be too much of an issue.
