ordering online - RANT

Im starting to really lose my temper with a big online retailer. I ordered an exercise sheet at the beginning od december. It was a christmas present but I thought it may just be here in time for christmas. I also ordered a pair of gloves which came a couple of days later. After not recieveing my rug I emailed them a few days after christmas asking how long it would be. They told me they were due in on 28th Dec. Great I thought, will be here for the cod mornings in Jan. Well I didnt recieve anything and a couple of weeks later I got a letter saying they would have some in on the 24th.
Just rung up this morning to see if they had come in and see if there was any chance they could get it to me before sunday.
HOw naive was I. They said they may have some in but they werent booked in yet and there was no way they could get it to me before sunday.

I ordered them at the beginning of december it is now 2 months later and I am left without a rug. By the time it arrives I will no longer need it! I would have thought they would have made sure they had stock in before christmas.

I am so annoyed and I will not be using them again!

Not one begining with D as I had exactly the same problem last year and as it was a christmas present to me I had to wait. It arrived in March, by then Mac was lame and went on to be reitred so it has never been used.
 
I was going to but couldnt find anywhere else where they had them in stock. I might ring round now to see if I can find somewhere else.

If they make me pay postage twice they will know about it.

which retailer was it? sorry your probably not able to say, but just so I know to avoid as I buy most of my horsey stuff online. Yeh I'd cancel the order and hunt elsewhere. Have you paid them already? If so demand your money back and state that its unacceptable.
 
Blimey you'd think they learn that every winter there's a run on excersise rugs and they ought to get loads in then. I think it's really bad they happily take the order and the money when they know they haven't got any in stock!
 
i dont order from them anymore, nothing i ever want is in stck! premier equine all the way for me!! really good quality stuff and excellent service.

I waited 3months for something from the company you are having problems with and they never even contacted me once to say whether it was in stock or not. I cancelled the order in the end.
 
Same retailer piddled me right off before Christmas - I ordered a haybar - the lost it and didnt have any more in stock. Took me two weeks of chasing to discover that, cancelled the order.
 
They havent taken the money yet, but they were my thoughts exactly. A lot of other places havent had the rug in stock either, wondering if there is a shortage

Their customer service is dreadful. I have definatly learnt my lesson. If it was the company I work for I would have hunted it down and done all I could to get it out asap.
 
We stopped ordering with them, when they never deleivered a numnah, so we bugged them and bugged them and they told us they no longer stocked them! Then a week later one arrived it was a completely diffrent thing!!! and we had cancelled the order!!!

I have only used them the once and didnt have a problem - maybe I was a lucky one. My order though did come in two parts which confuzzled me!

Can I recommend these people - if I have used them twice now and have provided excellent service. Even sent a replacement clip for my MT rug without question by first class post when madam bust the clip

oh, actually I ordered a load of stuff from them, told me half of it was out of stock. So it came to me bit by bit, then a few days later i recieved a huge box.....a second lot of the whole order.
Nope, they didnt charge me twice, and yep...I kept it!!

I recently had a bad ordering online experience(horse stuff) ...

sad thing is that it was the customer service that let them down - they were so rude I was very upset - so cancelled the order...

Thing is loads of people on here say really good things about that company - but I really haven't ever been treated that badly!

I would see if you can get the rug else where - makes me cross to think of people giving business to those with terrible customer service
 
Just rung another company who rang their suppliers to see why no one had them in stock. There arent any...... ANYWHERE!
So not only has this company been useless they have also lied out of their backsides.
Order is being cancelled as we speak.

**************UPDATE******************

Rung them upn AGAIN and they have just told me the date has been changed since tihs morning! Will now be in stock in feb.
 
Arghhhhhhhh that really annoys me with companies.

Ive had this happen to me a few times including from the company you are having problems from.
Equally I ordered from this company yesterday and i have just rec'd an email to say that my order is being dispatched.

So I wait to see if i get a completed order.
