ordering online - RANT

nat that exactly the story I got though by the sound of thing for the same thing to (Mark Todd Exercise fleece by any chance?).
Seems like the manufacturers of the rugs don't make enough for the winter demand. But really the shops should tell you that and be honest about it. Mind you the manufacturer are probably feeding different/changing dates to the shops in the first place.
Answer is , always buy your winter rugs in the summer

I had the same prob but with a weatherbeeta rug bib....
bought it beginning of dec and when i looked at order status it said awaiting stock so i emailed them asking when they were due in and they replyed saying wouldnt be until 29th.... poor neddy was already bald
so cancelled order
it said they emaild you if the item wasnt in stock.... i never got an email so if i hadnt had checked i would still be waiting now
 
yep i had a very similar experience with DH ordered toggi competition shirt begining of november for my aunties bday which was at the end of the month hadnt arrived so i emailed them and heard nothing and i emailed them again and then i rang them and the woman wasnt sure so 1 week before xmas it turned up luckily i had her xmas prezzie before her birthday so i had a swop not going to order anything from them online again and the shops nowhere near as good as it was either
 
I ordered three items at the end of November, one arrived ten days later (it was in stock so not a v quick turnaround I would have thought), but no word about the other item which was to have been delivered to them on 10th Dec. Phoned them on 20th and said where is item, was to arrive with you on 10th. Told that didn't arrive, would now be Jan. I cancelled the order, but when I asked were they not going to let me know that the item would not be available for Xmas, got excuse that they are only allowed 1/2 hour at the end of the day to ring customers, and so didn't get round to it.
This stupid company also had the cheek to advertize the item I was waiting for and never got (some own label men;s breeches) in their new year sale. How could they be in the sale (they idn't have any).

I've had the same problem and another person on the yard did too.
They ordered a training system in December and after 3 weeks they'd heard nothing so after Xmas they phoned and asked where it was. The company said that they weren't expecting any in until the end of February! 3 months takes the mick

I had some things ordered in Dec for Xmas and one of the items still hadn't arrived or had it's delay explained so i've cancelled the order and bought it from the local tack shop.
Was V annoyed that such a 'reputable' place would be so slack. I mean not letting people know that their stuff will take 3 months to come is just beyond!
