Hi, can anyone tell me what the little black double dashes mean on an ordnance survey map? I've tried to copy and paste an example but can't do it!

I know the long green ones are bridleways etc. but for some reason I have it in my head that the little black double dashes are as well or am I just grasping at straws!

I have googled the key but the double dashes are not on there.

Thanks for your help!

small black dashes are parish or district boundaries
green small dashes - footpath
green long dash - bridleway

Thank you everyone. Yep you're right they are tracks, so that doesn't mean I can ride on them :(

Just trying to find some riding near a house I am possibly buying that has stables for horses. Owners can't answer my question re local hacking and there are hardly any bridleways but the area is horsey...confusing!
