Since this:
"Well, we loaded Doll up at 10am and she travelled well. Screamed the entire way (she's got the most ear-piercing neigh ever!) as she has only ever travelled alone once, but she was ok.
We got to Anakins yard and covered Appollo is Dolls poo (nice!), then put Doll in the stable next to the babby. They were both screaming to each other, but couldnt see each other.
Once Doll had settled a bit, they brought Appollo out and let him say hi over Dolls door. She sniffed him a lot and he was chattering (is that submissive?), then they both had a little squeal. We left after that, but i've spoken to Anne and they've let them see each other again and it went well. They're just gonna keep doing that over the door until tomorrow, then see about introducing them properly.
Apollo is just THE cutest little baby i've EVER seen! So friendly!
Anne said that even if Doll doesnt have enough milk, but she accepts him, they still might keep her, just to keep Apollo in line!
So that's all i know for know. Anne's gonna ring me later. So all keep your fingers crossed for a possible proper introduction tomorrow!"
Anne's just called again. Said that Doll has settled down and they've let them see each other again a few times, and all has gone well. They're just about to move yards, about 100meters down the road, so i hope that goes ok. There, they will be in stables were they will be able to see and smell/touch each other over the stable walls, so that's better.
Anne will be staying in the horsebox at the new yard tonight, so they can feed Appollo, so i doubt she'll be on here to give an update.
I'll be going down tomorrow to see the new yard and check Doll has settled ok. She's had a busy day!
Will let you know how the introduction goes tomorrow!
