Orthopaedic dog beds

Any one have any opinions or recommendations for an orthopaedic dog bed?

My EBT is coming nine and is still very energetic but I think trying to keep up with the crazy spots is starting to take its toll and she seems stiff and a bit sore when she wakes up so I thought possibly one of these beds might help her?

She is on a weeks course of metacam from the vets to see if that helps too.

My dog loves hers. She's a 13 year old lab and can sometimes be stiff- the vet gave us metacam but we only give it to her when she needs it rather than every day which actually isn't very often.
We bought her a memory foam bed from pets at home and at first she wouldn't get off it! It does seem to help her compared to the bed she had previously.

Pets at home do nice memory foam dog beds suitable for large breeds.

I'd always thought that these beds were good as they provided support. I'd like to get one for mine at some point.

Very supportive, pretty indestructible, can be hosed and keeps them off the floor. It is orthopaedic, we got ours for Jake who had two TPLOs and it really helped, kept him out of drafts. Don't get the fake cheap canvas ones!

Zooplus do some nice ones. I got one of these http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/dogs/dog_beds_baskets/hygienic_beds/beds/13686 for my old girl, when she couldn't get up onto the bed any more. Now she's gone, the youngsters have claimed it!
