Always turn him out in a headcollar as he is a bit of a nightmare to catch in summertime. He had lost it today so I walked upto him slowly and offered him my bucket of hand chopped carrots and apples I had bought for them all this morning. Whilst he was munching away I patted him and slyly slipped his headcollar over his neck, but being semi distracted by his happy little face I must have touched his ears (very very sensitive horse- beaten stupid as a youngster)
Well, he spun sideways so quickly, knocking me to the floor as he goes and trod on me just above the hip with his fore feet, and managed to double barrel onto my calves, I was rolled about on the floor screaming in agony- poor Monty cob came to my rescue. Good job he hadnt got my hat as I was all alone out there

Rode Mont bare back down to the yard as I couldnt walk, OH came up to meet me. I feel so bad for Oshk because his confidence will have taken a big knock, and now I cant catch him

My leg is so sore, I can barely walk on it at all and when I got up to get out of the bath I have slipped and now have a gash on my head where I have hit the tiles

Hugs?

Hope you feel better soon. Are you sure you don't need to go to A&E??

Good old Monty cob coming to save the day!

Oh jeez Rosie! Huge hugs to you.

Poor Oshk, I imagine he's feeling pretty sorry for himself. But you know why he did it, and know he wouldnt have done it out of malice, only fear.
I hope you're feeling better soon.

You're always in the wars aren't you?

Oh no that is horrible

You really are in the wars, surley you should get checked out if you hit your head?
I really hope you feel better soon ((((((((hugs))))))))

Oww, sounds painful

Not to panic you but if he kicked you in the stomach (sorry if I read it wrong) then I think you ought to go to casualty just to be sure.

I went in once after being kicked just to be sure (after having finished mucking out, water, rugs etc) and they kept me in for four days with dangerously low blood pressure due to suspected internal bleeding.

Hugs...but I think you should go to casualty, especially if you feel at all faint....to get checked out....
And take lots of arnica for the bruising (and ibuprofen too).
Poor you - sending good vibes

I really do feel for you, hope you get back on your feet soon. Also hope gg doesn't lose his confidence whilst you're not around.

Ouch Rosie that's gotta hurt

ditto the others though you should perhaps go and get yourself checked out just to be on the safe side
