Osteo or Physio ?

Horse with arthritis, poss kissing spines, would a physio or osteopath be of more help in diagnosing and easing stiffness/pain? Vet knows about arthritis, kissing spines possibility but cant get decent xray due to horses bulk/shape.
 
Ask your vet which they would recommend. The have to have vets permission to treat anyway.


Personally, I use a physio.
 
Would be careful with either if you're suspecting KS. Perhaps try an EMRT? Made a lot of difference to my wobbler and it's less invasive.
 
my horse has physio for his kissing spines and works a treat his are T15-L1, although i have xray and ultrasound and have been blocked so i know most his pain atm is muscular
