hi Horse x rayed today with the above diagnosis any one out there with experience of this and prognosis?

hi ya
mine was diagnosied with this last week in the articulated facet joints T11 -13. Currently waiting for another ultrasound scan to assess it better she had x rays and an ultrasound scan to diagnose. Vet is talking about medicating the back (sounds scary) and see how she respond. she also had lig damage to will prob have shockwave for this. As for prognosis depends how responds to treatment, from what i can make out its not that common so guess makes it hard to give a prognosis nad each case is different.
