are tehy worth the money? I'v ehad my body brush for about 4 years and fell I deserve a new one. been looking at the Oster brushes to get my girl for her xmas present!
I'm going to be devils advocate, I got myself a set, but I don't like them that much!! I don't like the way you hold them and prefer a strap instead.
Agreed the tail brush is fab and much stronger than human paddle brushes I normally use!
However other brands which are similar would do just as well, so if I had to pay retail price, I would not cough out the extra for Oyster. Then again I am a tight ar*e
Also in my set there is no proper curry comb, which is a mystery on what they think you should use to clean the brushes with... unless I am being stupid?
I have a stiff brush which I find a bit awkward but the soft finishing brush is fab on summer coats, makes them really shiney. As for tail brushes I use an Avon paddle brush, quarter the price (ebay) and does exactly the same. Just glides through thick tails
I have a set and wouldn't buy another set, they are okay but not worth the money. The only bit I really like is the tail brush and would buy that separately.
I was looking at the tail brush at my local tack shop but noticed that Roma did exactly the same brush, just in a nattier colour
. I couldn't see any difference at all between them other than the colour and the price, which was half that of the Oster brush. Seems to work just the same aswell!
