Went to Bold Heath to compete in this event. Was quite suprised when the bloke on the phone said body protectors optional............ all became clear when I got there though.

The XC fences are PLASTIC and a bit spooky, loads and loads of people got eliminated at the corner as it was so so narrow, they also have a roll top made of green plastic tubes which is narrow and spooky too.

Despite this had a fab day, winning my class and qualifying for the finals.

Would advise you to have a go especially if you have a youngster as it's a real eye opener with the placcy fences n all.

Just wondered if you knew the answers to the following questions?

Was it a drawn order or putting numbers down?
Were the different heights up to height?
Did you enter beforehand or on the day?
Was the optimum time fast or fairly steady?
