Has anyone done the OTECC classes? I'm doing the 2'6" - 2' 9" (B2) class are they up to height? Will I need a nappy to take with me just incase

the B2 is up to height for XC jumps (they are the jumpforjoy ones). SJ are usually around 2ft6ish. They come up very quick so make sure you are dead straight into them unless you have a horse you can chuck in at any angle. Its quite a reasonable time to get placed etc so whilst you dont need to motor round like a lunatic you do need to get a good wiggle on!! Take direct straight lines and dont waste too much time.

We have qualified in the B2!! (by pure luck rather than any skill!!), good luck!!!! Nothing too scary in there by the way, and its really good fun.

I am very sure looking at your siggi pigs you defo wont need a nappy!! they are tiny compared to those in ya sig!!

Thanks

Hey,
We went a few weeks ago to richmond.Didnt know how my horse was going to handel it,anyway went around the track she was amazing didnt look at anything got placed i was chuffed to bitts as i didnt even know what we were ment to do and what we were judged on
smile.gif
Found the course quite hard to remember as there were quite a lot of turn backs and jumping the same fence a different way.I was on a 15hh with quite a big stride and she coped with everything well and took it all her stride. There was a very tight corner to a gate which caught a lot out, other then that there wasnt any other major tricky bits .I thorght it was a good course XC was up 2 hight but the SJ wasnt as big as i thought.Im sure you horse will cope really well,GOOD LUCK.
Let us know how you get on, fingers crossed for you.xx
