Other doggy forums / have I done the right thing?

I'm on a staffy forum. Mine is spay and a cross breed and just as welcome and the un spayed pure breed owner. They even have people who don't onw dogs at all. As long as you love staffies or want to find out about the breed. The more the merrier!!

They sound overly sensitive, something to hide perhaps?;) I love Borders, but they vary in quality, physically and mentally. Both my male BT's could/can be sharp with other dogs and completely different physically. Sonny was small, slight but a good head. Bertie looks more like a Staffy/BT cross and has a nightmare of a coat. He's a sturdy boy. But what I can say, I love their chutzpah:D

Agreed, they're FAB! Although according to the forum you shouldn't have one unless you've been breeding terriers for 20 generations ;-) I was surprised I didn't get a call from the RSPCA for getting one for my first dog!

I adore borders, I can't imagine my life without one!

My first dog as a child was a border and he was with us untill last year when we had to have him PTS aged 15. He got me hooked :)

My current border is a completely different dog. He was tough, steady and was an excellent hunter. My bitch is a wimp, needs her home comforts and trys to hunt but seems to have little natural ability :o

Both have been brill with small kids, loyal, and have both had that 'will go all day' attitude :) Betsy has been my OHs first dog, he wasn't too sure of the breed at first and she was supposed to be my dog.... They are practially joined at the hip now, he greets her before me and she worships the ground he walks on (I will have to make the next one love me more!)
