Hi,
My mare had a filly in June and is staying at the stud (which is over an hour away) till weaning but im trying to find someone with babies close to where I live near Wokingham to keep her company once shes ready to come back this way.
Ive asked alot of people that i know but it seems no one knows anyone so I thought id try on here.
My other horses live about 5 mins from junct 11 of the M4 (Reading) but I travel loads around my area with my job so anywhere within about half an hour or so would be good still.
Please get in touch if you can help me or if you know of anyone.
Thanks for reading this (I have also posted this in the breeding part on here)

have you tried the yellow pages and looked up studs? Or tried asking in the local tackshop if they know of any studs? or your vet? Most studs are happy to have weanlings on livery.

I have been looking at studs and asked my vets and the other local vets. I am going to put a advert in my local tackshops this week. I just want whats best for her which i think is other babies and her to be closer to home and it to be safe...oh it seems i actually want quite alot!!!

Being with other babies, not just weanlings, but yearlings, two year olds etc will do her the world of good and provide her with 90% of her early years education. So, yes, you're right, and you're right to want her to be safe and near you too.
