Otters

I've just bought Sunny a medium weight combo turn out because it's so mild but when it rains boy does it rain. An awful lot of places were sold out (unsurprisingly) so I have ended up buying an Amigo and it's a good rug and a great fit. But the colour is described as "Otter and pea green". Turns out it's a dark sage green with puke coloured pale green piping. I suppose the pale green piping is the pea green but has anyone ever seen a sage green otter???????????????????

I've never seen an otter of any description but methinks they were trying for a downmarket version of 'mink' that other indeterminate shade of, er, brown?

I had that rug for Brodie! I too wondered what 'Otter' coloured was. I decided it was what an otter would look lke after going swimming in a scummy pond. Or possibly that the rug was actual 'otter coloured' (i.e muddy brown) after one wear anyways.

Was a very nice rug though!

Of course, all the otters I have seen have been sage green

I must admit I love Horsewear rugs, but I can never get my head around the colours they do them in - tartan

What is wrong with good old black, navy blue, bottle green etc

Just make sure he doesn't get too warm or he will be a little otter than he should be.

I love that tartan!! I tried to justify it to myself that my Rhino's needed replacing so I could have one, but unfortunately I didn't succeed. Think its fab!!
