Otto's out and about..

He and Roo have been on their adventures again this week, although Otto got us all to himself today (and made us VERY proud, by behaving like an absolute gem. Despite no one else noticing that a VERY excitable young Springer was sat waiting unrestrained whilst they walked by, or walking at heel off the lead whilst their children ran screaming at him!)

No one ever notices when your dog behaves, only when it is bad Did the riders that came trotting and cantering past us today notice that Henry was sitting still and not leaping about shrieking about there being horses about? Did they realise just what a momentous occasion it was? Did they? No! (they did say thank you, but they clearly didn't realise the magnitude of the moment)

My two went for a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuummungous walk today - I am knackered they are both bouncing around.......

Who wants to go to the beach soon??

Some of them are at the Airport Perimeter fence and some are at the Outwoods. Otto was at the Outwoods today, it's our favourite walk, Otto alwasy behaves
Did any of the people we waited to let pass say thank you... in a word, No Would they have been the first to complain if Otto had splatted them with his big manky paws, or terrified their tiny children with his over-zealous Hello... of course!

Well done Henry though, what a breakthrough!!

Beach trip sounding good to me Hen, you can bring Otto too now I could do next weekend, or the 6 June (which is three weeks today)

I had a really good deathgrip on the lead just in case But he just sat there good as gold while they cantered up to us, trotted around the corner then cantered away from us Amazing!

I've been trying so long to get one, but they always come out in a blur or too early/late! But then I am expecting rather a lot of my phone I guess, especially with the speeds Otto moves out

My OH got one of Otto up a tree, however I may have climbed it first to call him up, so am also in the picture looking like a total spiv So no chance of you seeing that

I might, but you all have to promise not to laugh as, a) I'm wearing cream jods, which emphasise my huge thighs and also make me look naked and b) pulling ridiculous faces as I was stopping Otto falling off, which in turn was making me fall

Oh, and that is Otto's lead in the second picture, not some giant green snake! My OH isn't the best photographer!

Love it! In the first one you can see Otto almost thinking "I could go higher y'know..." and then the second one he's realised maybe not...
That has indeed made me laugh, and actually, made my Sunday
