Sorry to hear this. We have all been there….i have lost count of the times I have had cracked ribs. They take 3 weeks usually, third week hardly painful at all. So hopefully not as long a time as you are anticipating. And no, A&E are not interested. I gave up bothering them with my ribs, likewise my gp. To the point that when I fell off and my trotter mare trod on my breastbone, I got up and took a deep breath and oooh I could feel it shifting and grating a bit, in the middle of my chest, but I never bothered to go and have it checked. Just wore a nice tight vest for 3 weeks!
