I got kicked today and typically it was a centimetre or so above the top of my chaps, right on the reflex below my knee cap - surprised I didnt reflex back and kick the butt of the boy back! I went white as a sheet apparently and nearly passed out but feel I came away from it better off. Why I hear you cry? Cos we were stuck out in the middle of the bush in the blazing sunshine and said horse bolted and my friend had to walk, and walk, and walk through the deep sand for blooming ages. I offered to get off but wouldnt have been able to stand let alone walk. Waiting for the bruises to come out tomorrow and yes it bled but thankfully the horse had no shoes on, I cant bear to think what would have happened if he had shoes on GIT. Sorry pointless post just sat here not able to do much else haha!!!!

hee hee!! At least there shouldn't be to many snakes out and about in the bush at this time of year!!! I think it will be a nice colour by tomorrow, can't help on the pain front!

Have to say too, sand in WA is a total pain - so hard to walk in, unless you're a fully fledged sandgroper?!

ah but sand does have its advantages - ive lost 2 passengers in the last 3 weeks, well, 3 if you include todays, and couldve been really really nasty but sand saves the day hooray!
