This was trailer training gone bad.

IT was going so well until she lauched off the front, sending my sharer flying (she is unhurt), side swips me and send me flying before standing all over me with her back feet

Oh hun that looks awful - is your toe broken?

when i fell out of bed my toe looked like that and then my calf like your leg - I broke my toe - ended up on crutches for a week and a half. nine weeks later am still meant to be using them and having to see a consultant about my ankle and ligament damage

maybe get it checked out as it might not just be surface bruising and please dont do what I did and make it worse and keep going. Leg up, ice pack, arnica and lots of rest xx

Looks like it could be a cardboard box at the end of the bed to put foot in cause duvet will just hurt lying on top. I remember so well how that feels and it was 15 years ago it happened to me. Painful.

If you want to feel better, I can show you the photos of what I looked like after I was double barreled in the face and broke all the bones in it!

Nearly 10 months later I'm still having treatment!

I'm impressed! When something hurts that bad, there's nothing like a good bruise!

Imagine what it will be like when all of the brusing comes out over next few days!

I guess you said a few choice words along the lines of....

bleepp bleep horse bleep bleep pedigre bleep chum!

xx

Thanks all

I am now wondering if I should take myself off to A&E tonight as it seems to have blistered. Still can't move it as it is so swollen but I am not convinced that it is broken, and even if it was what can they do about it.

On the upside I have managed to upset everyone at work as the only footwear that I could get on was open toed sandles

Ooooh poor you! That's one hell of a bruise on your toe - and the leg's not too far behind it either.

I can understand your dithering about whether or not to go to A&E. It's the potential of a 3 to 6 hour wait that would put me off.

Ditto everyone above who recommended Arnica - also Aloe Vera for the blistering, and if it does turn out to be broken - comfrey cream.

Now I've still not got round to returning my crutches yet from when I broke my leg a few months back - so if you want to borrow them you're more than welcome - but it would mean you and OH coming over here to say hello to me, Ross and the Gang! Hint, hint...

Hope it heals quickly.
