I've gone to a new instructor to try to deepen my seat and open my hips etc to aid my awful balance and position.
The wicked witch made me do nearly an hour with no stirrups last night on the lunge and then no reins either. I HURT.
Then went to see my monster (he wouldn't tolerate that so I used one of her horses), bent down to pick something up, straightened up and was met with a flying horse ball. Full on on my cheek bone.
Bless him he obviously thought it was time to play but I wasn't watching.
Double ouch.
Today I am walking like John Wayne with a face like I've been to the dentist. Everyone (including husband) is sniggering.
I need some sympathy from someone!!!

Have lots of sympathy.
My friends welsh cob stood very hard on my foot on Monday (and yes I know I shouldn't have had canvas shoes on) and its very black and swollen. So while I hurt for a different reason (this time) I do understand!
