just got stuck between my gelding and the gate as my little mare decided to leather him as I was bring him in. we were at the gate in the corner so no where to go as he panicked and tried to get away from her hooves. thank god he tried to avoid me as he squashed me between the gate and him, the gate fastening gave way so he went through. I however then went the other way back into the field to tell pony exactly what I thought of her
(and she was going to run through behind him).
I know them all so well and have only mine in the field so I have no excuse other than she usually listens to me (but I was daft enough to be on the other side of my lad) and she hasn't wanted to come in this week, I've had to go and get her so haven't worried about her gate antics
my squashed ribs and the growing bruise will be a reminder this week to be more careful. could have been worse
