Being only 5ft 1in I struggle to reach my saddle racks, I tip my saddles to one side and catch them to get them down, but today I missed, it fell and smacked me on my brow bone! Sure I will wake to a black eye.

I think if I were you, I'd get someone to lower the racks to a more manageable height.

Am trying to swap with someone who has lower ones, no room to move mine down, only saving grace was it was my wintec not sabre saddle so lighter weight. Banging head ache now ��

could you not keep a stool of some sort under your saddle racks to stand on

Yep, being 5ft myself I have the same thing happen to me, luckily it's my thorowgood dressage saddle that's on the higher rack so it's only light but the girth usually falls on my head! My worst thing is trying to hang my rugs up on the rug hooks which have to be set high enough for the rugs to hang without dragging the floor which means about 7ft-ish!!

I'm getting a portable mounting block for myself as we don't have one in the school, so I will keep it under my pegs, and use it to get saddles down if no one will swap.
