Went out for a ride today in the forest, when we got back i untacked etc then when picking out hooves noticed peice of stone wedged between frog ang heel. When i went to get it out he flinched. As it came out i realised it was extremely sharp peice of flint embedded in his frog, blood gushed out then dribbled on the floor. I hot tubbed hoof then poulticed it just incase load of mud got in. Lets hope all is well my poor little horsey!
